The Nangou Bazar dog market in Fushon hangs live puppies by meat hooks through their lower jaw and skins them alive. The three videos in this article were filmed within days of each other. Video No 1 was filmed today by a Chinese animal lover who went back into the market to gather more evidence. Two thirds through video No. 1 you can see a live puppy kicking his little legs as he’s being skinned alive, suspended by a meat hook through his lower jaw. The rescuer who went to the market today is devastated tonight after witnessing the puppy being skinned alive. They will be haunted for a long time to come.
Dog butchers at Fushon dog market cannot produce sale and purchase documents, so consequently it is theft of property which is a crime under criminal law. Dog butchers have quarantine certificates, no proof of immunization or medical documentation for any of the dogs. This too is a crime to be slaughtering and selling the meat of undocumented animals, putting the community at risk of serious diseases and possible death.

Chinese animal lovers in Fushon stumbled upon this market by accident and are now begging for world exposure on it. Many of the dogs wear house collars with name tags and are obviously once loved pets. Some would be stolen pets and some would be once-loved pets which have been sold to dog butchers by their owners who no longer want them.
Fushon officials in Liaoning Province turn a blind eye to this dog market. Many of the officials enjoy eating dog meat so they’re under no hurry to investigate or administer violation codes to the butchers. They’re happy for the market to continue.
Videos No 2 and No 3: footage taken only days earlier at the same market. Viewer discretion advised.
Fight Dog Meat is thankful to the bravery and persistence of local animal lovers who not only found the market, but have been back more than once to gather evidence to expose what is happening to innocent animals in this dreadful place. As you can see in video No. 1, the animal lover who was filming was confronted by dog eaters and butchers at the market today. This could have ended very badly, so they did good to hold their nerve.
