F.D.M. Dog and Cat Rescues

Fight Dog Meat is an animal welfare charity which rescues domestic pets and wildlife.

We rescue, foster, rehabilitate and re-home.

Our team are experienced animal rescuers who are passionate about animal welfare.

All of our just-rescued animals are frightened and some are injured.

Fight Dog Meat work hard to reunite a lost pet with it’s owner.

When all avenues to reunite them are exhausted, animals are fostered and re-homed into safe and loving homes.

This elderly dog was about to step into heavy traffic when he was rescue by our Fight Dog Meat team. He was taken to safety and later reunited with his owner who'd accidentally left a gate open due to grief about his wife close to death in hospital. We were so glad to deliver his dog back to him safe and sound.

Fight Dog Meat rescued this dog from the street, late at night. We fostered the dog as efforts were made to locate it's owners. The dog was eventually transferred to a breed-specific rescue group who adopt that particular breed of dog.

I rescued this Great Dane after his family no wanted him, and put him out to fend for himself. I referred this deliberate animal cruelty case to City Council Animal Control.

This dog is a serial kangaroo killer and was allowed to roam by his irresponsible owners. 10 people sighted him chasing down kangaroos. Eventually I captured him and involved City Council Animal Control who dealt directly with his owners. This photo is him in the back of my car.
