This poor dog has been beaten and probably already stabbed, judging by the pool of blood by it’s hind legs. China has a very brutal dog meat trade where dogs are stabbed, often in the stomach or genitals – not to kill them outright.
As they lay on the ground writhing in pain, the dog’s are often smashed in the belly area with a bat, as a man stands on the dog’s hind legs. After a minute or so, the dogs are usually stabbed again, in the belly area – the knife is usually plunged in and deliberately twisted before removing it. The pain must be unfathomable!
From this point on, whether the dog is still alive or not, the dogs are either boiled or skinned – although critically injured, often the dogs are still alive.
ALL OF THE ABOVE IS DELIBERATE. The more pain that the dog or cat experiences, up until the moment of death, floods the animals’ body with adrenaline. This guarantees the meat will be tough. Customers demand tough meat because they FALSELY believe tough meat boots a man’s libido.
Tying a dog up like this is a particularly cruel thing to do to a dog. Worse still is the way the front legs are used as handles to carry the dog – causing the dog’s shoulders to dislocate, leaving the dog in agony. Usually the dog will also have it’s mouth bound tightly shut, leaving it unable to scream out in pain.

Yes. This is a very cruel practice and the Chinese have some very sick superstitions but have you taken a good hard look at America’s meat trade? Especially the beef, pork and poultry industries? You can find just as much cruelty there!
