Shocking videos of fully conscious dogs being held in boiling water by a Chinese dog butchers, in China’s dog meat trade.

Although the first video only goes for 7 seconds, it is enough to give you a window into how brutal the treatment of dogs and cats is in the pet meat trade – not only in China, but throughout Asia and across Africa.

Boiling dogs alive is an acceptable form of slaughter for many Chinese dog meat butchers, who clearly see animals as objects and not sentient beings, capable of emotion and feelings.

These videos are further evidence of China’s immediate need for animal protection laws to be implemented and enforced. We know China is capable of implementing animal laws  because they did exactly that to halt the slaughter of their Giant Panda. Chinese animal lovers are calling on their government to bring animal protection laws in and put a end to the ongoing animal cruelty taking place each day.

Please do not make the mistake of thinking China is the worst. I have video footage from many different dog and cat eating countries, from Asia and Africa, and they are all just as horrific and brutal. We must stay focused on ending the pet meat trade as a whole, not just in one location.
